Ms. Rodriguez came to the United Sates 20 years ago, and this is her 10th year teaching at the Quincy Junior High. She teaches English as a second language, Spanish, and also teaches Reading/Writing Intervention classes. Ms. Rodriguez became a teacher in Mexico. After she came to the U.S. she attended Central Washington University and obtained her bachelor’s degree in teaching. She also attended  Washington University and Walden University. Ms. Rodriguez believes that education provides people with options to help themselves, their families, and their community. She is also mother of 3 children of whom she is grateful to be part of their lives. Her favorite animal is an  eagle because they are beautiful animals, they teach their young to fly, and they live in the highest mountains. Her favorite colors are blue and green because green represents life and blue represents the sky.
